Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I get my home inspected?

You should get a home inspection when you put in an offer on a home and it has been accepted by the seller to make sure there are no major issues with the home that could cause safety issues down the line.

What happens if damage is found during the inspection?

If damage should be found I will point it out to my client so they can present it to the seller to negotiate a repair; if no agreement is made and my client walks away, I do offer a discount to inspect a different home.

How long does an inspection typically take?

The duration of a home inspection depends on the size of the home

but the average time is about 2 hours.

What do you look for during an inspection?

There are so many things I look for during Inspection but to list a few items that I feel are the most important and expensive are the roof, HVAC, and foundation but there is also electrical, plumbing, water, and moisture damage to name a few more.
